What is the MBA Council of Houston?
The MBA Council of Houston is a Texas Non-Profit organization. Members of the organization are not individuals. Rather, membership is comprised of local alumni chapters of top-tier MBA schools. If you are a member of your MBA program's alumni association, you are a member of the MBA Council of Houston.

What is the charter of the MBA Council of Houston?
The group exists to serve Houston-based alumni through business networking, providing unique events, promoting organizational best practices, and encouraging community involvement. We have regular planning meetings throughout the year that are attended by school representatives. All MBA Council sponsored events are open to alumni from any MBA program.

This sounds pretty cool.  Can I join?
Yes, membership is free to any MBA student or graduate or anyone who just likes to hang out with MBA graduates.  There is a membership fee paid by all member schools.

How do I volunteer?
Come to an event and introduce yourself to someone from the MBA Council of Houston or send us an email to info@mbach.org.

How does my school become a member?
Come to an event and introduce yourself to someone from the MBA Council of Houston or send us an email to info@mbach.org.  Membership is free for the first year. 

What are the member school responsibilities?
Member schools need to have a representative that is able to commit to attending monthly Board meetings.  We also expect the representative to coordinate annual membership dues and volunteer their time for one event per year.
