What:  TheRice Energy Finance Summit is a conference designed to facilitate the exchangeof ideas and perspectives between leaders in the energy and finance industries. 

When:  Thursday, October 29, 2009, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (registrationand breakfast begin at 7:00 AM)

Where: Rice University, McNair Hall, 6100 Main Street

Who:    Doug Foshee will provide the morning keynote address, “Energy, Uncle Sam, and the role of the Fed,” discussing the balance of macro-economic risks and opportunities and the impact of the Federal Reserve and the government’s fiscal policy on the energy industry.  Bobby Tudor will speak about energy investments and the price of oil.  Jack Moore will address developments in Oil Field Services and the outlook for technological developments and the impact on costs.   John Hofmeister will talk about energy independence and alternative, renewable energy sources.  The Energy Finance Panel will discuss the outlook for M&A in the energy industry and the availability of credit.
